  1. Golly this is so much fun. I already have 4 gnomes so I’d better build them a village. Years ago in our writing group and one person wrote about a light house. For her birthday we created a miniature light house and it was so much fun. Thanks for sharing.

  2. I don’t have a speaker system to listen to what kind of plants you used for the fairy garden. could you tell me how to find out what they are? thank you.

    • Hi Pat, sorry I didn’t reply earlier, I’ve been locked out of my wordpress site! I’ve written a book that will be out by the end of the year with details on all of the plants that work well in these gardens. To find out more you can sign up for my mailing list. Just send me an email to anneofgreengardens@yahoo.com and I will add you.

  3. This is a fabulous garden!! We have turned what used to be a cornfield, into a wonderful park like property. I have been thinking of a fairy garden for a long time and your miniature garden has inspired me to try it! Thanks.

Loved your site Anne . I so enjoyed my visit, I have learned something new today.!
I have fairy doors on cut down trees,so I am going to try making a Fairy Garden.
Can we grow the plants mentioned here in West Coast BC ? We are about 2 hours from Vancouver BC Canada)
Again Thank you for such a delightful web site.
    Nola .

    • Thanks Nola! I apologize I did not reply sooner, I’ve been locked out of my wordpress site! I believe you are in USDA Zone 8 so you should be able to grow most of the plants listed in my video (I’m in USDA Zone 9). If you’ve gotten your garden planted, please send photos I’d love to see it.

  7. I ran across a picture of your fairy village on Pinterest a few months ago and fell in love with the idea of creating a fairy village of my own. So, for the past few weeks I have been working on creating the houses and details for my own version. I have made each of my own fairy houses and have been documenting it on my blog, http://thechillydog.blogspot.com. It’s still a work in progress, but I am hoping to reveal the finished garden on Sunday, September 22, the first day of Autumn! Thank you for the inspiration!
